That´s the way I like it, if I can make two things at one time. My first contest of the year, was also my first contest as a Pirate. I´m still a member for some tie but I didn´t quite get it to get rid of my habbits.
I was highly motivated for the new year and because of that, I registered myself spontaneous for the run of Westenholz at the 5.1.14, by having really bad weather conditions. 81 others joined me over the 8k long distance.
To cut a long story short, two degrees, drizzle and icy wind over a hilly course. Everything else than an easy year beginning. But at the end I was really glad that I did it and satisfied with my result. I became overall 28th with a time of 33:08min ( 4:08min/km).
