It was one of these days. You just stand there and think. You think stay home and do nothing. But I got up and participated at the triathlon in Rheinstetten. As you all know, Pirates are survivors.
Start was at 10:00oclock for about 250 participators, as well like 50 relay teams for the 400m of swimming in the Epple Lake.
A few waves forced me to drink a lot of seawater to avoid drowning. Don’t care, go on. I survived the swimming and went thru the transition area to catch my bike and to enter the 17km long bike course. Headwind but I was on the passing lane.
On the closing 5k running course, it went quite good as well and at the end I was 6th overall and 1st in AG.
Now I can hardly wait fort he triathlon in Cologne at the 7.9.14. I will tell ya more tales.
Hoist your colors and see you soon…
