About 10000 spectators watched Alistair Brownlee winning his 3rd European Championchip title. By the way, it was the 5th time for him to win the race here in Kitzbühl. 2nd place for the Russian Dmitry Polyanskiy, and 3rd place, for the Spanish Vincente Hernandez.

The decision over the victory was fought on the running course, during the bike part the whole field was almost together.

A constant view over the fantastic mountain scenery (The Wilde Kaiser). You had to ride three really hard bike rounds, which went most of the time uphill.

You got about 800m of altitude on the 40km bike course.
