For myself, Eating sand…
They changed the course in face of last year. They made up a small downhill section with a closing uphill part next to some stairs. The part in the middle of both would be some doom for the one or the other. And we didn´t had to ride over the whole meadow like last year only a part of it.
The start was point 12:15o´clock. Finally I had a good start and even was able to to get the first turn rapidly. I lay on the 11th position, when the field accelerated. Than in the nd sand box, it happened and I made a fantastic jump over my bar, until I was on my bike again, I was passes a t least by 5 or 6riders.
Sadly it costs me lots of time to find my rhythm again. Soon I remarked that it wasn´t able for me to pass the guys in front of me and so I concentrated myself on not being passed and it worked and I finished on the 16th place. I like to gratulate Christian Vosseberg, who won his first WEC-race ever, on the places Stenzel and Nordmann.
Even of the bad day and maybe because of the one or another missing rider, I moved on the 10th place in the overall ranking.
