Obviously I just wanted to attend Julia and Nele, but than, thank you Suse Rautenberg, than everything got changed.

I overcomed myself and registered myself, for my very first MTB race, ever. The short one, Ronda Piccola 44,79km with 1523m of altitude, Julia did the Ronda Grande with 75,7km and very impressive 2822m of altitude.

I was very glad about meeting Nina and Jessy in the starting block. Both of them took my flurry´s away and taught me about the upcoming course.

About the race, 28,63km are further than I thought and 702m of altitude are higher than I thought it would be.

Finally, I made it over the finish line, and I wasn´t the last one…

Really happy, I met lots of well known faces in the finish area. Nina and Jessy waited already for me, thank you. Congratulations Nina, 2nd women and more than an hour faster than me…
