Today we wnt ro Rheine-Erlte again after being absence for 2 years. I got wonderful memories about this race, because last time I finished the race with a podiums place.
The course in Rheine is a wonderful fast forest course with 3 runnings sections. The course was really good prepared and so the course wasn´t that muddy than I thought it would be. I Than I made a difficult decision which to tire to ride, and I choose right.
We were about 30 participants at the starting line at 12:15o´clock, who waited for the strt to come. That the course would be like a torture for the chains, no one knew before. I had a good starting position, but sadly the guy in front of me had some klicking problems and so my fast strt was all gone, but anyhow, you can start badly, but when you ride a good race you can see it at Michael, you even can win a race.
The race form e was better than expected and I was able to catch up with Roman after 2 rounds and the gap became smallet to the leading group. Sadly I had to let go during the sharp turns and than later, even I was totally cheered up by my daughter, my power was almost gone, but at least I took the 14th place overall.
Two other Pirates started today in the Elite´s race. Guido, ended up on the 17th place and Timo who made it on the 9th place.
Heute wahren noch zwei weiter Piraten bei der Elite im Einsatz. Guido beendete sein Rennen auf Platz 17 und Timo auf Platz 9.
