At the 25.12.13, I went together with my family to the home town of our club, for a Christmas Cross Race.
The new course was a changefully forest course and offered you all what you wanted…
I was allowed to use my new weapon. The bike is awesome, even of the fact I´m used to ride MTB. The disc brake on a CC-bike. Like Ron always says, who brakes later, rides longer fast. But to ride that fast, you have to get enough fuel.
While I was inspected the course, I met Santa Claus dressed up like Ron, and he got present for the Pirates with him…
Thank you Ron!
The race:
Because they put together the senior class 3 and 4, we had a large field and for those who didn´t got any points in the Stevens Cup ranking only a starting place far behind.
Because of the large amount of riders, you had lots of fights fort he places during the race. My result wasn´t really satisfying for me( 27th place), but at least we had some fun.
Special thanks to Burkhard Sielaff, Rebecca Sadowsky and Linda Pleis for the wonderful pictures
