the 2nd „ Dötlinger8“ attracted lots of participants right into the heart of the „ Wildeshauser Geest“. They arrived from everywhere out of Germany and some wanted to do the whole distance of 312km.
On Friday the course was provided with road signs.
…and being cleaned…
At the course briefing, you also received lots of energy by noodles, beer and HKT
After a short night, it was time for the lining up for the start, at 6:50o´clock.
7:02o´clock. The field is rolling…

Soon, groups were made up…
…Food supply…
..not to forget, drinking as well!
Sometimes is worth to take a break…
…just to start for another round again…
The course attendant, is allowed to ride fast…
… just to warn the others of suckers…

Conclusion:
30 participants on the 39km round, which had to be ride max. 8x.
Lots of supporters at the paddock.
Two runner on the obvious 10km round
Just two did the complete distance of 312km
Lots of personalall time high
Just a weekend, with lots of fun and less sleep
Hasta luego, next year again on the D8…
