The Neheim Live Marathon took part fo the 3rd time at the 29.06.14. 4 Pirated were there and three who participated, Guido Pütz, Martin Krankemann and Thomas Siems wanted to ride and Tanja Pütz supported the guys. The distance of 60km and the length of the race was something new for Guido, who just ride some XCO races with a race time of just 60min. For myself this race was some kind of preparations for the Endurothon in Schierke and AMrtin wanted to ride the short distance of 30km.

Time for the start was at 11:30o´clock. Nice time. Because it rained the days before we expected a soft, wet and muddy course. We had to ride two rounds of each 30km.

One advantages of having a race license shows yourself while lining up. So, we were very relaxed in the first block.

The start was delayed because of something, but than we started and the easiness was all over. It was a neutral start and for the first km´s the field rode together. All distances started together and so the speed was quite fast right from the beginning.

The course was most of the time over forest ways and some trails, which were nice to ride, at least on the 2nd round. I lost Guido after half an hour, I couldn´t follow his speed, but than at the beginning of the 2nd round I found a group of four with a constant speed and collected some of them who started to fast. Like Guido, he forgot to eat and couldn´t follow us. I rode together with the other over the finish line, Guido followed later, where we were being welcomed by Tanja.
