What you´re suppose to do, if the weather is sux?
You just ride to the 2nd race of the Challenge4MTB series in Boffzen.
Just half an hour before the race, it started to rain. Fine, I thought. Just wait fort he rain to end. But it didn´t.. The race was started on time. You had to ride 5 rounds with each 5,7km. After the opening lap, it soon went uphill about 150m of altitude, right inside of a forest, what follows was, muddy forest ways with ponds and slippery single trails until the finish line.
After the 2nd round, the course was so muddy, that you wasn´t able to ride really fast anymore, without the chance of crashing. I took the wheel of DDMC Lars Meier, and like that we were able to ride at least constant times.
Sadly I wan´t able to pass him anymore and so at the end I finished on the 6th place overall and 2nd in my AG.
