Hello,
at the 03.05.21014 was the 1st run of the NRW Nutrixxion Marathon Trophy, at the Abus-Ruhrbike-Festival in Wetter. Like a home match for me, because I work in Wetter…
Even the weather was good, the temperature rised up to 30degrees on the parking lot in the sun. In the shade it was much more cool, so you didn´t quite know what to wear.
Sadly, this year the start wasn´t on the Harkort-hill, because they had right at the beginning two narrow places, where all the traffic stopped and you had to get of your bike to push it. But at least the Hege-street in Volmarstein was still included, a street, that is almost one of the steepest streets in whole Germany. By the way, the short and steep section after this streets hurts even more, in my opinion.
The course got a large amount of single trails, which are sometimes even hard to ride and you need lots of riding skills fort hat.

At the end I ended up on the 19th place in my AG.
Lots of Greetings
Elvis
